Priyanka Chopra Biography

Priyanka Chopra was born on July 18, 1982, in Jamshedpur, India. Chopra was crowned Miss India in her high school and went on to win Miss World 2000. After that international success, Chopra became a star in Bollywood and turned her focus to film. American television made waves in the form of Quantico which was an FBI thriller. It was a hit between 2015 and the year 2018. She was also a big star in Bollywood with her marriage with actor Nick Jonas. In 2003, she starred in her debut Bollywood film, The Hero: Love Story of a Spy. In the same year, she was also in Andaaz. The film was the beginning of a lengthy film series that included Plan, Kismat (a romantic comedy about spying), Asambhav, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Aitrazz, and Asambhav -- all released in 2004. Although the majority of these films didn't make the cut at the box office Chopra's romantic comedy Mujhse Karogi was a huge success. At the age of twenty, Chopra made her debut in the 2002 film Thamizhan and followed it that same year with Jeet The Born to Win. Chopra said she was not happy with her debut. "I was ready to quit the industry once I did it! "I didn't realize what was going on." Nick Jonas, actress and singer-actor and singer-actor, announced their engagement in the summer of 2018. The news of their engagement was announced in July. According to reports, Jonas proposed to Chopra on Chopra's 36th birthday. The couple got married at an extravagant celebration that ran for multiple days starting on December 1st, 2018.
