Camila Mendes (born 29 June 1994) is an American actor and singer. She is best known for being the character Veronica Lodge in Riverdale, the CW's teen drama. Her family has lived 16 times in her youth but she spent the majority of her childhood in Florida. American Heritage School was where she completed her education. After that, she graduated from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Her zodiac sign is cancer. Camila Mendes was an actor from at a very young age. Her first acting role in a commercial for the brand IKEA. Riverdale, a CW Teen Drama series, offered her the opportunity to portray Veronica Lodge. The actress gained fame and recognition due to her performance of a silver-tongued sophomore in high school Veronica Lodge. In 2018 she made her debut film debut in the film The New Romantic, in which she played Morgan. The film was premiered at the SXSW Festival in February of 2018. Later , she appeared in the Netflix romantic comedy The Perfect Date. Also starring Laura Marano, Matt Walsh and Matt Walsh were also part of the movie. In 2020, she was a part-time actress in Palm Springs, a critically well-received sci-fi/comedy. This movie was a co-production with her in which she played the role of Tala she was a part of, premiered at Sundance Film Festival. In the year 2018, she played the role in Maggie Rogers' music video called Give a Little. The same year, she also played Riley in the music video for The Chainsmokers featuring Emily Warren who was dubbed Side Effects.
