Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell was a television personality, a former chef of the Institute of Culinary Education and formerly teaches cooking. The host of her show is Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on the Food Network and the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, in her Food Network Series Secrets of a Restaurant Cook, reveals easy to master techniques and her trademark spiky blond tresses. Chef Burrell had a job at the top New York restaurants and studied Italian cuisine and environment. Additionally, she competed in Food Network's Iron Chef America. As a child in the upper reaches of New York area, Chef Burrell discovered a love for cooking and food at an early age. The Culinary Institute of America was the next step for her when she finished with the Bachelor of Arts degree in English as well as Communications with a degree from Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America has been a fantastic experience for me. I couldn't learn and do enough. Following graduation, Burrell worked at La Bottega del 30 in Tuscany as well as La Taverna del Lupo (in Umbria) and attended in the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. Burrell gained a greater understanding of Italian food and culture during her stay in Italy that has informed her cooking style. Burrell is a part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board that brightens children who are facing difficulties. She also serves as an Juvenile diabetes research foundation Celebrity Ambassador. she promotes the awareness of juvenile diabetes. In her capacity as a speaker, Burrell is on the road to share her passion for cuisine and to promote her professional career as a chef. Through her culinary adventures, Anne often says that she feels very fortunate to share my true passion to others.
